La Cappuccina

Campo Buri Carmenere Oseleta

Deep black heart with star bright reflection. Nose of pipe tobacco and black plum are pierced by bitumen, pepper and licorice, black bread toast and grilled meat. On the palate, tart black cherries lead red cherries with dark juice bordering reduction, tobacco is prevalent but moist and sweet; graphite, smoke and charred oak just hinting. 2015 vintage in magnum making a more cohesive statement on day two. Baked fruits and bricking show the years, but unwavering quality and tannin keeping it chewy, luscious and solid rim to rim. Lovely Rosso Veneto to champion all comforts.

Grisela Soave Classico Garganega 2015

Digging Garganega! Only 12.5% abv. This quaffer is deep lemon yellow. White and yellow peaches followed by citrusy minerality. Mild lees characteristics from batonage while in stainless vats. Rich mouthfeel, M+ finish. Thinking fish, grilled veggies, white meats, sushi. — 8 years ago
