CabSauv, Syrah and a bit of autochthonous LIMNIONA, 12 months oak. Meteora in Greece. A fine finding indeed! — 6 years ago
Popped and poured. The wine pours a light straw color with a light green hue. Medium plus viscosity, and no signs of particles or gas. On the nose the wine is expressive of white flowers, star fruit, lemons, and crushed gravel. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is a touch waxy. This was a delicious pairing with langoustine pasta. — a year ago
Great story — rare indigenous grape variety from a disused vineyard formerly framed by monks at the neighbouring monastery. Could easily be mistaken for Italian. Lots of interesting wines coming from Greece these days. — 5 years ago
