Really nice zin! 9/16 — 10 years ago
Great charbono, 13.9% alcohol with great balance. Somehow they kept the tannins in check, this went great with prime sirloin steaks on the grill. — 12 years ago

Spicy Zin. Pairs well with lamb. Yummy! — 14 years ago
Turley made this wine from 1994-2010 and to me it was always the benchmark for the varietal during that era. The 13.9% alcohol was probably the lowest in Turley's lineup back in 2002. Their Charbono has always been a sneaky good ager and this is no exception. Probably already on a slow decline now I wouldn't hold on to these much longer. The Tofanelli family now keeps their own fruit. I'll have to try their version one of these days. — 9 years ago
Charbono. Quite the oddity. But if anyone made it interesting its Robert foley or tofanelli. Highly recommended. Started off musty and opened up to a nice fruity earthy finish. — 11 years ago

Everything I'm looking for in a Rosé. It's got great fresh strawberry, raspberry, and some wet stone. Awesome. — 10 years ago

Super. Fruity, complex, with a long finish. Even better after open an hour. — 11 years ago
Yum. Good tasting, and a good cause wine. Touch sweet, nice and full. — 13 years ago

Still prefer the Mcgah, but this was better than the last bottle I had. — 6 years ago
