Big fan of this. A blend of 4 Red Mountain vineyards Klispun, Upchurch, Grand Ciel, and Ciel du Cheval. Pretty much 1/4 each. Moderate fruit with a nice nutty inkiness. Already smooth. — 7 years ago

Great blend of Red Mountain grapes by Chris Upchurch and he Delille crew. The 2009 AIX is smooth and delicious Because this is a Syrah-Cab-Mouvadre blend, there’s deep raspberry, anise, espresso and slight oak flavors. Great wine with a beef dinner. — 6 years ago
