This is a blend from the clone 337 Cabernet and married to the merlot. It opens light in the plate and drives to a mulled cherry finish with fine tannins. — 9 years ago
Maury Sec is alive and well in Ann Arbor Michigan! We enjoyed this last night at Vellum Restaurant. — 11 years ago
Really enjoyed this. The mouthfeel/texture, higher acidity and lower abv (12%) caught me by surprise. Would have thrown me a serious curveball in a blind. — 6 years ago
Silky texture and vellum thin nuances that are seamless. Delicious!! — 10 years ago
This was deliciously cranberry driven initially, with yesterday's coffee, plum, pepper and black walnut, which re-perfumed into yesterday's baked Bing cherry pie and dusty, cedar hope chests filled with vellum and pressed wildflowers. Raspberry, mint and pomegranate with bits of pith. Earthy, smoky and tumultuous with firm, but sultry tannins throughout. A dusky lady climbing a volcano in a weathered frock. — 8 years ago
