Viña El Huique

Viña El Huique

Parróne Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Pretty boring label. It’s not bad, just very plain. Deep color. Purple with a dark center. Smells nice. Earthy, herbal stuff in the mix with the very berry. Slightest hint of petrichor (aka the smell of rain). Flavors are nice. Rich. Thick. Plenty of fruit. Dry. Zingy. More wet stones and some earth. This is a nice blend. It’s beefy and would really work with red meats off the grill. — 4 years ago

This is really good on its own or with Japanese curry. 😊 — 7 years ago

Viña El Huique

Parróne Syrah 2006

Held very well, some lot dark cocoa notes - nice full body with medium tannins, lingering green pepper corn spice after finish — 11 years ago

Viña El Huique

Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

Layers of dark fruit, oak and the 15% alcohol is hidden well. Damn nice with 9hr smoked pork butt. — 10 years ago
