Viña Serea

Vinos Pleamar

Albariño Serea

Fairly mute on the nose…I’m waiting. After time out, Melon, lemon/lime, stone fruit. Tiny effervescence.
But…but…the palate is Wow! A salty, mineral bath with a creamy delicious mouthfeel. Peaches, salt, clementines, but that seashore is irrepressible. There’s some limeishness in the background as well. I see one reviewer said it was “their cheapest & jive”…I don’t really know what to do with that, but I just thought I should stick that in as a WTF?
I made one of those ( strange to us Philly folk) weirdo probably Texas Corn, Jalapeno, Bacon, Cheese dips, and 🎯!!!
Sometimes these wines sneak up on you.

Serea Albariño 2023

From Vanderbilt Ave. Wine Merchants. Rich and creamy, heavy salt but still drinkable and summer-y, limes 🍋‍🟩, pretty true to form. — 2 years ago

Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Serea. Serene. San Diego sunset. Warmth. Depth. But still delicate. Yum! — 5 years ago
