This fun bubbly brings the brut. It's Sahara dry, with a strong earthy and yeasty streak running through it. The unusual grape - Trepat - comes on with some of the earthiness of a North American variety, and provides a nice counterpoint to the Pinot Noir. It's my first time to taste Trepat, by the way, and I would do it again. Minerals all over the strawberry aromas and flavors hit very well, and provide food friendliness. LOVE this wine!!! Long lasting legs. Nose leads with citrus but also has mushrooms notes. Smooth. Starts with some peach and citrus, with very low tannins. Flavors much like a good Prosecco. Great to pair with seafood. Also, a very cute bottle. — 7 months ago
The smell of fruit coming off the bottle when the cork popped was already impressive but it is equally matched by a full luscious fruity but yet beautifully balanced acidity! — 4 years ago
