This fun bubbly brings the brut. It's Sahara dry, with a strong earthy and yeasty streak running through it. The unusual grape - Trepat - comes on with some of the earthiness of a North American variety, and provides a nice counterpoint to the Pinot Noir. It's my first time to taste Trepat, by the way, and I would do it again. Minerals all over the strawberry aromas and flavors hit very well, and provide food friendliness. The smell of fruit coming off the bottle when the cork popped was already impressive but it is equally matched by a full luscious fruity but yet beautifully balanced acidity! — 2 years ago

Garnacha and Pinot Noir. This wine colors up to quite a striking salmon orange in the glass. The nose brings aromas of red fruit, with yeasty notes playing around the edges. Its palate adds a dash of orange peel to the cherry and strawberry flavors. The acidity is very fresh and lively. Throw in the bubbles and you have a party in the bottle. — 3 years ago
