New Calabrian producer! Very Nebbiolo like. Great dusty tannin on finish. Impressive for Southern Italy. — 11 years ago
Don’t know much about the producer (or have much experience with the grape, gaglioppo) but this was nice enough. Earthy, perhaps slightly dusty, but with lifted acid. — 2 months ago
Easy drinking grenache. Light to medium body, probably at its peak. Nose is dominated by toasted spices, fruittier on the palate. Short finish. Enjoyable but nothing transcendent. — 9 years ago
Dark blueberry flavors and aromas with chocolate, leather and graphite notes. Hints of vanilla and oak. Wonderfully balanced and smooth. Proof that a fine wine gets better with time. — 7 years ago

Deep ruby color. Aromas of ripe red and black fruit, violets and dried herbs. Red and black plums on the palate along with hints of ripe cherries, sweet spices, balsamic vinegar and those dried herbs. Long and earthy finish with refined and dusty tannins. Well balanced acidity and alcohol. Complex yet quite elegant and bright. — 10 days ago
