2016 vintage, drank at Sicilian wines tasting, Toscanaccio Winchester on 19 July 2018.
Opaque red, purplish edge. Gunpowder, mineral, earthy on the nose. Velvety, berries, fruity. Very nice wine. — 6 years ago

This Virginian petit Verdot with Melissa and John in Winchester Virginia. Solid petit Verdot, just an underlying touch of oak to round out this great grape. The winery In Delaplane Va 20144, ferments it’s grapes on natural yeast and does not add any additional yeast to the fermentation process. Great wine, beautiful drinking wine with our salads sourdough bread and sheep’s milk Gouda from Spain. Yum!!!! Good times. — 6 years ago

Class! A 6.5yr old 375ml micro lot barrel from the esteemed vineyard near Winchester. Balanced elements of oak and cran-raspberry reduction. Just to touch a Pierazines leading to some green pepper & faint tar notes on the nose and finished palate. Nevertheless, elegant. — 2 years ago

Pale yellow, transparent edge. Peach on the nose. Sharp intake, it softens as it develops in the mouth, mineral. Great wine. — 6 years ago

Virginia wine. The 2020 Briedé Sparkling Winchester Brut has a yellow straw color with a huge helping of white foam, which dissipates quickly to a frizzante appearance. It is wild while it’s there, though. The nose offers beautiful aromas of green apples and apricots under an overlay of yeasty toast. The palate has a boatload of acidity and yeasty flavors of apples, and pears. Fun and tasty, too. — a year ago
