Amazing nose; nutty, sweet onion, butterscotch, orange. Supple texture and balanced sweetness and acidity. Long and sexy. — 10 years ago
Peachy nose and quite fruity nose opening up to apricot and lemon notes. More lemon and peach than others, which usually have pineapple or pear. Delish! — 6 years ago

No one would ever suspect that the clear light ruby '03 Wyncroft Pinot Noir 'Avonlea Vineyard' came from the Lake Michigan Shore in SW Michigan. In a blind tasting, everyone would swear it was from Burgundy. A complex nose of sweet black cherry, plum, mint and earthy barnyard morphed from the glass. Medium-bodied with tart acidity and hints of floral and spice in the long-lasting aftertaste. A most serious wine from an unexpected region. — 10 years ago
Ryou meaning cold breeze and fu meaning wind. I really wanted to like this wine after listening to Geoff’s podcast but I opened it along with Jim Lester’s Chardonnay and it couldn’t keep up. West Sonoma Coast have you heard about Michigan Shore Ava??? #wyncroft — 6 years ago
Pretty, herbal nose. Bright red fruits; some carbonic grapiness; fun, mouthwatering. — 10 years ago

2006 vintage. Just excellent. Mature but w all the stuffing. Still plenty of fruit, integrated tannins. Lively taste. Some sweetness to it that is most appealing. Much better than the off bottle i had a few years ago. — 5 years ago
