A cognac esk rum delectable — 6 years ago
Notes of caramel, butterscotch and of course molasses. Incredibly smooth and long. Dangerously delicious. A great rum. — 9 years ago
Beast of the East vs. Best of the West….taste off
VA Monticello Petit Verdot against a Cali Napa Valley Cab.
Pairing: American Wagyu Strip, Home Fries, Mushroom Ron Zacapa 23 glaze.
As much as I love my Napa Cabs, the edge went to the PV. 93 - 92. — 7 months ago
Ottimo, forse un po ruffiano ma un buon solera !! — 6 years ago
This came across as a rare find.. A Nicaraguan rum that you can enjoy on the rocks. — 7 years ago

Dark tawny brown in colour. Strong molasses/cane earthy smoky aromas. A brilliant palate of Caramel, molasses - a fluid mellifluous palate, so smooth it doesn’t show its 47.5% ABV. Aged in Double charred Oak Barrels. A marvellous Rum from Guatemala - love the raffia basket weave around the base of the bottle - great presentation. — 4 years ago
