Zema Estate

Zema Estate

Family Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 1988

Not hugely complex, but heavily characterised by the irony component of the terra rossa from Coonawarra. Funny enough it reminded me of an old Chianti from Radda without the racy acidity those wines sometimes bring out — 6 years ago

Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2014

Very good, with purchasing again. Fresh fruit upfront, adequate complexity. — 7 years ago

Zema Estate

Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2000

Very fruity and slightly sweet, yet accomplished with slightly papperish. — 9 years ago

Zema Estate

Family Selection Shiraz 2006

24 months of oak but the balance is superb. Still a lot of fruit intensity and other than colour, a few secondary characters. Will go hide my last bottle for 2021. — 8 years ago
