This zin is a zin's zin, zinful to the last zop. It's a very drinkable wine with a delicate mouthfeel. It's flavor? Like a strawberry and/or plum jelly on top an English muffin. Sweet but not disgustingly so. The wine is darker than the bottle, and the bottle is charcoal black. Held up to a light, you can make out a faint red color with purple tinges. If your kid did a crayon drawing of wine and used this color, it wouldnt even make it to your fridge. I still love it. Pairs well with saltines.

Creosote and apple jack. Jam. Tasty. Agreeable. Interesting nose with some medicine and cherry wood. Flavors are Zinful. Berries and jams abound. Tannic finish. Full and rich. A very Lodi ish wine. — 8 years ago
Dark impossible to see through color of Mission fig skins. Smells like more savory, dark red, black fruits. French figs and not very sweet blackberry jams. Taste is amazing. Dry, kinda jammy, Zinful. It’s also got olives and black, ripe plums. An absolute perfect expression of the varietal that matches chocolate and black sweet cherries as great wonders of human experience. — 5 years ago
Dusky red. Smells a bit like berries, rhubarb and red fruit jams. Flavor is nice. More wine-y than drastically Zinful. Peppery. Lush. Plenty of bitter, tannic backbone. A hint of violets. Very nice, balanced wine. — 7 years ago
Zinful. Bought after Black Swamp. This was the bottle left over from the tasting that the guy just have to us. Interesting flavor for a blend. Not what you would expect. Really enjoyed this wine. — 8 years ago
