Rich, mineral, sometimes coming across pretty phenolic. A broad wine, but stylish and well-balanced for all that. — 7 years ago
By day three its shed the puppy fat and oak and is showing something of the electricity of the vintage. Nice stuff. — 7 years ago
Pretty flippin’ serious wine. Rich (for a wine that was probably picked around 20 brix) but not enough for it to be cloying or heavy. Flavors are not particularly fruity; some hazelnut and lemon oil that will probably go to that fermenty hay character with some bottle age. There’s some noticeable tannin too, some of which I think is wood-derived but it gives the wine grip. The weight (alcohol x ph x acid) is perfect. White burgundy was my favorite wine in the world and I’m spending my dollars and cellar space on OR Chardonnay because you’d spend a lot of money to get something this good from Burgundy. — 5 days ago
I hardly know what to say. It's a perfect wine. Texture, aroma,
Flavor. It's all in a glorious place. Here Müllen is a genius, and a very nice man besides. — 7 years ago
1.5L. Somewhat excessively horsey on opening, but on night three its come into its own. Bloody, steamy, juicy. — 7 years ago
Delicious. Much like the better Jura reds I've had — 7 years ago

God these wines have changed. Still good. A lot of fruit and oak but good for all that. Probably needs another 3+ years to shed the wood and fruit and become a bit more interesting. — 5 days ago
