Really lovely slightly off dry Riesling from Oregon! Was a great pairing for a peach, prosciutto and arugula salad. — 8 years ago
Dried stone fruit and aged honey aromas, with burnt honey + salted walnut flavors. Great body and balance. Absolutely amazing. — 9 years ago
Phenom sparkler to kick off Richard's road to citizenship. — 9 years ago
Blackberry and smokey cedar nose with a plush palate of similar flavors + black tea and licorice. Lovely refined tannins. A bit bolder and fuller palate than I expected but awesome. Drink now after a little decant. — 8 years ago
2003. Loads of blackberry, violets and spice with some secondary flavors of sweet tobacco and leather. Really nice balance, smooth and mellow. Could age longer. Decant. — 8 years ago
Surprise of the night. Easily mistaken for an aged Burgundy. Crazy delicate and bright, definite crush red berry and earth. Unfiltered. — 9 years ago
Terre Nere's bigger, slightly bolder big brother. A bit more shoulder and depth with the same lovely dried violets, crushed earth, and minerality. Beautiful. — 8 years ago
Awesome cab franc from CA, and a showstopper of a producer - the usual dusty, dried violet flavors but with a bit more body and dark fruit than older world examples making this a crowd pleaser for the equal opportunity cab franc fan. Try with grilled lamb or roasted pork tenderloin. — 8 years ago
IMO the star of the line up. 35 yrs old and still a ton of freshness and fruit. Dusty tannins, crushed dried red flowers and elegant earth. Lots of age left@on this one. — 9 years ago

Amazingly soft tannins, well integrated dark red grits with a touch of leather and dried Violet's on the palate. — 8 years ago
