This week's must-try wines are from Josh Raynolds’ article 2020 Rosé-a-Rama . Enjoy an excerpt from his article and his notes for this week's top ten below! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ “The 2020 Rosé season has started, but definitely not at the frenetic pace of the last several years. The worldwide COVID-19 pandemic has put a damper on demand for all wines, and even the ever-popular pink versions aren’t immune to market realities.” --Josh Raynolds, 2020 Rosé-a-Rama, June 2020 1. Domaine de Triennes

Vin de Pays de Mediterranée Rosé Blend 2019

Delectable Wine
9.0

Translucent onion skin. Orange zest, persimmon, red berries and a subtle floral nuance on the fragrant nose. Concentrated but lithe and seemingly weightless, offering tangy red currant, strawberry and blood orange flavors that pick up a spicy nuance on the back half. Finishes brisk and tight, with repeating spiciness and a sneaky floral quality. This wine has the depth of flavor to handle full-flavored foods, but there's no excess fat here, either. A solid value. Chateau Des Bormettes

L'Argentière Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend 2019

Delectable Wine
9.0

Light, shimmering orange. Ripe citrus fruits and red berries on the incisive nose, plus a floral quality that builds with air. Smooth and fleshy in style, showing good depth to the juicy blood orange and strawberry flavors, which take on a spicy white pepper nuance on the back half. Firms up on the spice-tinged finish, which hangs on with very good tenacity. This wine has the depth of flavor to work alongside strongly seasoned food, but it's racy enough to be served by itself.
