Merlot + Sangiovese in this one, great red fruit, but you may chew some (or too much) nice oak. It's a real pity, but I think you, international friends, could enjoy it. #FrescobaldiTasting — 9 years ago
Among the most famous Chardonnay coming from Tuscany, this one (also) is fatally touched by some oak fermenting and aging. Medium body, good balance in acidity and saltiness, medium long finish. This vintage doesn't guarantee a long aging, but I'll wait 2-3 yrs. before drinking it. #FrescobaldiTasting — 9 years ago
Super-Tuscan blend, fresh with balanced tannins, no hints of green or vegetable typical of Cab. Sauv. & Franc not perfectly matured. A very good expression #FrescobaldiTasting — 9 years ago

Cru in Montalcino, vines are 17 yrs. old, Sangiovese at the right color and transparency, still very young, medium body and structure, a little bit hot (15% alcohol declared), in the end is a very well done Brunello. #FrescobaldiTasting — 9 years ago
