Showing much better than the 2012. Color was vibrant. Great mix of fresh blue and red fruit as well as white pepper and herbs. Palate was restrained and well structured with a hint of sourness. More drying than unctuous. Fine finish. #passopisciaro#etna#mtetnawine#sicily#italy#nerellomascalese#ctbucklinwine — 8 years ago
Lots of red fruit on the nose--think cherry and raspberry -- obviously an ancestor grape of Pinot noir. Tannic and beautifully balanced. A perfect wine. — 9 years ago
