I had to look this varietal up. “Albariño is a white wine grape variety that is native to northwest Spain and northern Portugal.” It is a mellow semi dry. No floral. No fully frontal fruits. No mineralization. Truly a fresh palate with little to write home about but so good. I paired with random cheese and olives from my fridge and a snack bag of Cheese Nips. I would easily buy again. #vinocheepo win. — 8 months ago
