Crisp with a touch of honey. Enjoyable wine, nothing too dramatic. Easy-drinking and casual.

Oct 18th, 2020The label suggests this #marlborough #sauvignonblanc be served a bit warmer than usual, (55°F) and I can see why. The color changing dot 🌡 on the label seems gimmicky, though. Aroma doesn’t shove gauva and tropical fruit in your face as usual for value SBs from this region; instead there is more subtle grapefruit, some grassy notes. Moderate acidity on the palate, still crisp and very quaffable as it warms up on a potluck-on-the-patio summer evening.

Apr 9th, 2020I'm not as crazy about this as some, and I think it's because it's less sweet, and might even go better with food because of that.
