Not as full-bodied or as flavorful as I'd prefer, but it has a nice fruit forward smell, and a light, soft balanced, dark fruit flavor. Not as dry as I expected given that the description says it a dry, full-bodied cab - it's neither. But, for $12 Aldi grab and go, it's a decent staple item. Decant first and you'll get a much better result. I'd buy again, but not as a first bottle choice.
