Old picture I found. This is an interesting wine I tasted at the Kalmoesfontein farm of Adi Badenhorst himself during one of his famous pizza nights. It’s a blend of white and red grapes, and what an interesting combination it makes. On the nose you’re hit with a intense smell of strawberry/raspberry almost candy like. The mouthfeel is also very interesting as it has both that white wine freshness and acidity while at the same time tannins from the red. Again, also that fruity taste with a decent middle-long finish. It did go great with pizza but would love to try this with anything Braai. I think it can be amazing to pair with something a bit more fatty since it will cut down through it with ease because of the acidity.
