South African wine. Wasn't entirely worthy of rating the first day, but it opened up a fair amount on the second day. This is value AND food wine...without either one of those, it's not ideal. Bitter strawberries and sweet tarts.

Nice nose. Raspberry tones with nice tannin level. Slightly sweet aftertaste. Will pick it up again.

For being a South African wine I'm super surprised it's not crazy over baked and jammy. Maybe that's just a bias but it was lighter on the tropical Shiraz side, and pretty well blended, might be that because I don't know how much it was blended that I thought they actually did a pretty good job with this

I don't care what it says, this wine is absolutely wonderful. Great with food, great alone. It's well balanced with good acidity and rich fruits.
