The mighty mighty tannins of this are at first too much but given a few are the perfect counterpoint to the dark chocolate and blue/blackberries. Is this what a chocolate-covered boysenberry would be? Tiny hint of cedar and perhaps...mint on the finish. Give this lovely some air and it is grand.

Good fruit, well integrated oak, I just have problems with Syrah (blended here) and that limits the score (love the Syrah in Rhone, but that is about it)
