It was the battle of the 12's and this one smoked Cliff Lede's Poetry. Elegant, finessed and still pack a wallop of dark fruit. Not as good as their 12 but better than most 2011's!!! Refined and elegant display of Napa's best.

What a surprise! Best 2011 Napa wine so far. Had the 2011 Las Posadas from Abreu 2 nights ago and this is better. Yes, I said that. Pop and pour. Lovely fruit and structure. Seriously impressed by this.

Showing beautifully, u would be hard pressed to know this was a 2011. Inviting nose of kirsch liquor, olive tapenade, charred wood. The palate is silky smooth with upfront dark berries cut by cedar with dark bittersweet chocolate that resonates on the finish. Hint of cherry cola on the after taste.
