White florals, citrus, wet slate on the nose. Palate has lemon, grapefruit, almond. Is quite tight in range, has nice acidity and minerality. Oak is very well integrated. Comes across as a well-made wine but has less primary fruit character needed to take the complexity to the next level. Leans to Burgundy in style vs California. Would like to try another vintage from this winemaker to see the variation I from year-to-year.

One of the best Chardonnay’s. Not too oaky. Ripe pear and gooseberry.
