2014 vintage. Underripe peach and pear. Lots of lemon. Honey. M/L. M acid and body. Long finish. Not that bitter. Soft and balanced.

Funny, Dundee Hills Pinot Noirs are just too earthy for me, but this Chardonnay from that appellation is beautiful. I enjoy a restrained Chardonnay with a hint of minerality and this one delivers exactly that. Pale in color, the nose delivers a light floral, lemon and nutty accent, followed by a lean, bone dry, citrusy palate with a lingering grapefruit finish. Was a fun pairing with blackened catfish and roasted green cauliflower.
