Really firing right now after one day of air. Explosion of Forrest, berries, and leather on the nose. Palate is big but tons of tart cherries and blackberries, more fresh herbs and eucalyptus. Long finish with crushed berries and tannin.

Again Pax impresses. Musky Dry and savory. Started to fade after opened an hour. Still love it though.

Big and complex. Blackberry, gamey, pepper. Presently needs decanting but evolves nicely. My rating will likely increase with further aging. 2011 on March 30, 2017
