Used it mostly for a sauce the other night, but three days in fridge it is still pretty great. Best with slight chill. — 13 days ago
This is awesome and interesting. Nose is unique. Strawberry compote, some herbs and earth. The palate is a unique feel, I wonder if from chestnut barrels! Strawberry, cherry liqueur, flowers, earth. So great with food. Still evolving after a few hours open. Would love to see how this ages. — 17 days ago
Dried herbs, dried cherry, some other berries, a bit of leather, no doubt about this one being a Chianti. Classic and so good. Amazing with food. — a month ago
Well, glad I kept this for another 6 years to see how it evolved. Cork was in amazing shape. Brick red. Almost tawny in glass. Dried flowers and herbs on the nose. Not a lot of fruit on the nose. Palate is more dried flowers, roses, leather, the faintest touch of pouch tobacco, plums, dried fig, maybe persimmon. It dries the mouth with tannin and acidity. Definitely secondary flavors starting. Probably the best wine deal I’ve ever had for this type of quality. Wish I had one more to try in 2028. — 6 days ago
This is amazing. So much fruit and flowers on the nose. Continues on the palate with a battle of fruit punch with floral notes and some blood orange. Tomato, good acidity, a bit of spice. A bit of earth. Excellent with pasta. — 16 days ago
This is one of the best wines I’ve had from j Wilkes. Lighter and fruit forward but currant and berries with good acidity and not a lot of tannin. This would be a huge crowd pleaser. — 24 days ago
@Delectable Wine this is nv18 and it is awesome! Pepper, eucalyptus, fresh berries, red apple, currant, maybe some tangerine. Good acidity and tannin, but tasting great now. A bit of cedar lingering. Still one of my favorites from Napa. — 13 days ago
This is wild. I feel like if this was served in an opaque glass I’d guess red wine on the nose. Berries, strawberry cream, flowers, some forest and moss on rocks. Good amount of effervescence with apples, strawberries, cream, forest, a tiny bit of baking spice, some baked pears, rocks, flowers. So complex. It keeps evolving so I am rambling. Amazing qpr. Lovely. Very fresh, cranberries, forest, a bit of tart berry, some funky earth. Overall a great value, probably a little better in a year or two. — 18 days ago

Pretty great for under 20 bucks. Could definitely hold for a few years. Great fruit, structure, not a lot of wood, some leather and herbs. I’d buy this again from this vintage. — 4 days ago
