Barrua Isola dei Nuraghi Carignane

Primarily Sardinian Carignano (85%) with some Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Merlot (5%) blended in. Bold aromas and flavors of mushroom and ripe berries with hints of spices, tobacco and dark chocolate. Intense, complex and full bodied. Well preserved and fresh for a wine of this age. Acidity is quite bright and the tannins are firm but well integrated. Similar in style to a Bordeaux or a Super Tuscan. Love this producer! Thank You Keith S.

V06. Beatiful wine. Soft cedar and plum nose. Rich blackberry, currant, plum, and tar fruit meld together before a dry, smooth velvety, herbal and mocha finish. Very well balanced.

Alot of green notes, green paprika and herbs. Powerful dark fruits and tight tannins. Needs it's meat

サンジョベーゼにカベルネソービニヨン。香り良く、タンニンなし。ビステッカに合わせたのんだが、果実味強く、鳥の白ワイン煮込みのパスタサマートリュフがけに合った。
メルローやジンファンデルに近い味わい。
