Very nice, well balanced To Kalon Cabernet. This bottle was solid, but just lacked that extra character to put it into the top tier.

May 31st, 2018I wasn’t sure what to think of this at first but after two hours of air, it really opened up and showed like a top-tier To Kalon Cabernet. Lovely fruit with plenty of complexity. Luxurious texture.

Mar 23rd, 20182014 opened Nov 2017. Wood smoke and violets on the nose. Jammy fruit on the front of the palate. Silky light.tannins on the top of the palate. Not much finish to it, though. Inoffensive, but not challenging. If I had done a blind tasting I wouldn't have called this a young wine. Tastes like Napa Cab that's aged for 15 years. So I'm not sure if this is going to get better with time. Sorry to be a parry pooper.

Was able to enjoy the 2014 in bottle and 2015 futures in barrel. Deep structure and tannins which will make this age worthy for 15+ years. Wonderful!

Young but opening up nicely after about 1h......beautiful tannic structure, polished mouthfeel.....truffle chocolate finish.....Not quite the same level as ERA but at the same time, it doesn't suck.....
