Era Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This Was a tossup between our wine of the night and second place. However, that million dollar smile is a winner by a mile!!!!

2012 Vintage ERA. Opaque dark purple in the glass. Seamless and elegant. Somewhat feminine. No flies on this one, Napa red doesn't get any more well balanced than this.

2012 ERA from Alpha Omega

This bottle was terrific tonight. Resolved tannins give it a beautiful silky texture. This is at its peak drinking window, in my opinion.

A wonderful Rutherford Cabernet. Nice scents of bluefruit, tobacco and allspice on the nose. A juicy, fruit forward, bold Cabernet with great tastes of black plums, blueberries, pie crust and cocoa. The tannins are sleek and the finish is fabulous. Loved it!

A fantastic expression of a Napa Valley Bordeaux blend. Nicely extracted explosions of blackberries, black currants, and baking spices tightly wrapped in a silky oak glove. Lingering flavors of spice, herbs and licorice on the finish. Does not get much better than this wine.

An elegant Rutherford offering of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Abundant dark fruit, licorice, herb and cedar tantalize the taste buds and linger for a long fantastic finish. An excellent wine.

Savory dark fruits, dark grape jelly. Mint. Spice. Brooding. Needs age. 15.1%
