dense and velvety. Warm black fruit steeped on licorice and mocha with well integrated structure. It shows some restraint and back bone, but I worry it will get porty with age.

On the nose, pretty bright fruits and a hint of licorice. Tasted medium on the palate and not very overwhelming...finished with almost a grape fruit roll-up taste. Though not outstanding, I enjoyed this much more than the '13.

Pretty rich ripe dark fruits. Black & red currant. Fairly dense on the palate. Some tannin in finish but not harsh. This is a buy -again and very drinkable.

Skate that thin line between being to new aged and oaky and classic restrained and tannic. Just a decent all around Cab.

Dark inky fruit, supple textures but there are others at this price point that id prefer. Still very nice tho.

Oct 5th, 2014Great wine made by Joel Aiken. So much structure and precision. A touch of green pepper and dark fruit on the nose. Big body but not too "fruit-bomby" like some. Mouth filling for sure with some dark chocolate rounding it out.
