Vintage 2012 | Patience pays off. I tasted this several times and was not impressed. Bad buy, I thought, blaming the year 2012 (2010 was gorgeous). But now, 12 y later, it is a sunny and warm day, I put the bottle in the fridge and grilled duck breast. Colour of Italian rooftiles. Beautiful tertiary nose with cinnamon and tobacco. Velvety taste. It delivers!

This was and is a harsh wine. Lots of tanine still. Spatburgunder herbs. It is PN, but France would be hard to guess. Still after all this, a nice wine to drink.
