It's been 5 years or so since I've tasted the 2011 Right Bank. Holding well, soft tannins, bright red fruit, drink now or hold. Enjoying 13.8% ALC

Restrained but concentrated and complex at the same time. Blueberry, black currant, smoke, oak, olive, green pepper, black cherry, eucalyptus, earth.
Would pair with filet, artisanal cheese, marinated&thrilled prosciutto & mozzarella stuffed veal chop.

Given the vintage my expectations were low. I was very pleasantly surprised with the depth of black fruit flavors and soft tannins. There were some green notes but they enhanced rather than detracted from the flavor. I’d say drink up on this wine. It’s ready.

Good, more old school and restrained year, but tasty none-the-less

As with most of Todd Anderson's wine, this one is great! Paired with pork spaghetti. This cut the acidity of the balsamic vinegar beautifully. Give it time to open up. Much better after 1 hour in the glass. Glad I have a few more bottles laying around

A bit thin on opening, but fleshed out and came around nicely on nights two and three. Decent for the vintage.

Riper purple fruit cabernet franc from a more structured vintage. Still young and tight, could be better in five years
