Champoux Vineyard Red Bordeaux Blend

Needed a decant, started rocking on the 2nd hour. Has a decade or more on it.

Bright and tight still

Good on ya, Washington.

Very dark rubi robe, nose of lead pencil, dark fruits, cedar and spices. Very elegant complex, but also bold and concentrated Bordeaux blend. Should be much better in 3 to 5 years.

Cork is almost black. Aromas of Tar and barnyard funk. Black fruits, spice and graphite on the finish. 2009 vintage.

End of summer deck party. Dark fruits with hints of leather and spice. Tannins were a bit tight. More decanting would have been helpful.

Lovely. Needed a decant and got better with time. A bit of tannins, yummy smooth aroma.

2009. 3rd place in recent mammoth Cab tasting. Super wine.
