Dark rubi robe with some transparency. Very reticent nose of dark fruits, blackcurrant. Big bodied, masculine, dense, top soil and saline, very very long in the mouth. Gotta be the best Clos Vougeot we had in so many years. It’s very approachable now but its probably better to keep it another 6 or 7 years. At year 20 will be a royal experience. — 4 days ago

Medium dark rubi robe, with slight fading on the rims. Nose of dark cherries, crushed flowers, top soil and spices. The wine is still reserved in the mouth even after one hour uncorked, very long and complex, still marked by the whole grape vinification, but tannins are polished and velvety. Another 5 years in the cellar will for sure payoff. This is an incredible red burgundy and it does not get much better than that. Enthusiastically recommended. — 19 days ago

Its very smooth and mineral, medium bodied, great tension, long, asian spices, dark cherries and top soil, this is a top notch wine and very distinctive for the vintage. Dark rubi robe, no fading or bricking on the reams. Nose of cedar wood, top soil, blackcurrant and violets. Silky and elegant in the mouth, polished tannins, ever so slightly grip at the end, overall very cabernet and excellent freshness and tension in this medium bodied wine. Its now called Les Perrières de Lafleur and goes for over double the price. Excellent wine !!! — a month ago
