Seems this was best vintage ever in Brazil for red wines. Pretty good with nice acidity, fruit and balance. We liked it.

Always excellent stuff that punches well above its weight.

Medium rubi robe, nose of crushed flowers, top soil and spices. Very elegant and well done, accessible now if decanted, good wine for cellaring. Thats a classical Barolo with all it takes to please. — 6 months ago
No specific notes but the wine is pretty good. Very sunny and quite rich but no excess.
Good stuff. — 4 months ago
Dark red robe, nose of cherries and tobacco, very balanced and fresh in the mouth, medium body and length. We like it a great deal and was very consistent with prior notes.

Awesome bottle. medium dark amber robe, nose of compote fruits and flowers, very rich and decadent in the mouth but with a sort of drier finish on a fresh and balanced note. Would have never even hinted at 1937 had we tasted blind. Very very young Barsac that makes you think of the 70s good vintages. Top stuff and wish we had bought a couple more bottles...

Dark rubi robe, nose of smoked top soil notes, cedar and tobacco with a hint of flowers. Medium bodied, very polished tanins and good length. This is elegant and well done for such difficult vintage. We liked it a great deal ! — 4 months ago
Very young and accessible, suspect will stay this way for another 9 to 12 months perhaps. Good stuff.

Dark rubi robe, nose of blackcurrant and spices, very balanced and elegant in the mouth, fresh, good tannins, fruity. This is top stuff and singing right now, but no rush. Classical claret and highly recommended.

Medium dark rubi robe, elegant nose of flowers, cherries and asian spices. Balanced, fresh, light on its feet, not very complex but truly satisfying. Classical and great value. — 4 months ago
