Probably the last vintage by one of the region's most celebrated producers.now in private equity hands sadly a fate befalling many family owned wineries.
A wine of flavour concentration and finesse, dark crimson with inviting aromas of black cherry, red fruit and some cedar. Delicious with well-integrated tannins, nice mouthfeel and long finish. — 20 days ago

At 10 years old a wine that is drinking quite nicely and the 2015 was seen as a good Martinborough vintage, and the single vineyard KIWA as having good structure, complexity, and capacity for aging to 2025 and beyond.
It’s a harmonious balance of fruit and savory complexity with earthy, spicy, and savory notes, underpinned by its structure and a long finish.

Very good Barossa Shiraz with silky tannins, Blackberry flavours with hint of mocha and chocolate
Opens up well with a long finish. Less oak is noticeable a positive development👍 — 7 days ago

.Visually dark, opaque black-purple hue, hinting at the concentration.
On the nose, a bouquet of blackberry and plums.
The palate transitions seamlessly, revealing a well-structured profile where integrated tannins provide a firm yet smooth framework. This structure supports a core of persistent fruit that carries through to a notably long and satisfying finish.
A good example of the generally improving wines coming through behind the top liners.
