Anne Amie Vineyards
Cuvée A Müller-Thurgau
Pale yellow white in color. Slight sulfur or matchstick note in nose initially. Later pear and pineapple notes in nose are more apparent. Slight spritz. Off dry to dry. Lemon and pear notes in mouth. Tart on finish with candied citrus skin in aftertaste. Old vines, early Oregon planting of a largely neglected varietal. Give it a chance, a well structured and balanced food wine with lovely, slightly understated yet elegant flavor profile

Apr 29th, 2017I loved this. Didn’t know if Muller plantings in the US before this, these vines are from 1979. Straight forward but some great tropical fruit, peach, and honey suckle notes. Sunshine in a bottle.
