In the sweet spot right now. Such a beautiful wine. I don’t always jump to sonoma Pinot but I really had a craving for it tonight and this fit the bill perfectly with chicken Marsala. Brambly and high toned. Just starting to develop some terchiary character. The conifer forest floor is definitely in the mix. Perfect spot right now. Im so happy i opened this one.

Searing bright acid, delicate floral accents, succulent red fruit, lively spice and silky tannins. Just a gorgeous Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir- transmitting unmistakable coastal terroir, intense yet elegant, concentrated yet clear. One of my favorite Anthill wines of the entire range and certainly the most overtly aromatic given its youthful status. I wouldn’t normally recommend drinking one of Anthony’s wines so young but 2015 was indeed an unusual vintage here in Sonoma that yielded its share of compact, ultra-concentrated wines that are developing at a brisk pace. Perhaps this is one of them. Whatever the case, feel free to enjoy now- it is already quite expressive and rewarding. Superb!

Burgundian in style low %. I am pretty sure this includes stems. Strawberry compote but also herbaceous and way to young! Dislodged at the moment I am pretty sure this will come around at the moment too green. I would say buy a couple of bottles and wait - this is not a drink now wine. From the San Diego Wine Company. Just 4 bottles left I think. Worth the risk but pricy 50$.

Dark berry fruit on the nose. Black fruit, licorice, forest floor. Good stuff.
