Perfume of wet rose bushes after a drizzle and a stroll up the garden path. A bit medicinal with rich red fruits, sour cherry and a decent finish. Fantastic!

Aug 29th, 2016Hay that is what Suzana thinks. I think horses ass. Ryan things fertilizer in the ground for a while. A ton of Brett in this one. The fruit is wonderful. Tame after a while. Very tame as it opens up. Silky roses was a good description. Not adventurous. Mid palate so full. Excellent. Classic. The barnyard goes away after 2 hours and then this wine really shines!!! If you find Uliz check it out!

Nov 27th, 2015This is the oddball of Burgundies. There are a handful of vineyards within the appellation which can have the surname 'Le Chapitre' because they are better then the rest and it shows. This is a 50$ Bourgogne and it is stunning! Quite funky on the nose. Deep red. Slightly brown from oxidation. Coffee and bitter chocolate at the back. Nice tannins will last many more years! Some cedar box almost like a Bordeaux the next day. A. Petiprez is apparently crazy about natural wine making according to the chambers website.
