Mar 29th, 2015Delicate and feminine in style - an interesting contrast to last night's Santa Barbara Pinot. The cherry cola persists, but wrapped in a blanket of dark, wet earth. Black cherry and anise also come through in the nose. The palette is tart cherry with chalky earth, with a touch of anise. This one definitely falls on the earthy side of things, lacking a bit in the fruit department.
