Loureiro

Vino Verde all grown up! This smells like a tropical vacation. Heaps of different fruits - citrus, stone, melon and tropical all there. Wet stone paired with slight creaminess and traces of vanilla. Palate does not disappoint, bringing lemon curd, green apple, cantaloupe, papaya, all with great texture, M+ acid and zero heat (sitting at a perfect 11.5). Still wine, no fizz like other VVs, but a porch pounder none the less!

One of my favorite wines of the last year! Juicy pear, lemon, a touch of banana and a long saline finish.

Citrus and orchard fruit, then stony minerality, finishing with a acid/saline palate refreshing snap. Simple and refreshing, complex and engaging - your choice.

Tasty and refreshing combination of lime and orange peel on this one. So much citrus zest from nose to finish. 2 months sur lie gives it a very nice mouthfeel and great length. A nice refresher for the summer, and the bright acid makes it great for seafood!

Citrusy, spritely, aromatic orange loveliness. Orange blossom, mandarin oranges, wet stones. On the palate, Aphros Loureiro 2014 is equally enchanting, softly-textured with delicate silvery mineral filaments weaving in and out of kumquat-and-lemon-pith acidity. It's round and moderately sweet, with 4.80 g/L RS along with a surprisingly persistent finish. I could drink this all day. 11.5% ABV | Sample

Really grew on me over time! A great white wine.

Good acid, balanced, kind of meh.

В носе легкий тон сырной корочки, жасмин, цитрусы, папайя. Во вкусе зеленое яблоко, лимонный сок с цедрой, неспелый ананас, зелёный манго, крепкий белый персик, чуть ванили, галечная минеральность. Молодо, просто, с высокой, перетягивающей все внимание на себя кислотностью. Похоже на тропический мюскаде. При всей своей вертикальной односложности - не грубо, довольно чисто. На второй день на удивление становится лучше и сбалансированнее, смещается в сторону белой Кампании.
