Brambly black fruit and tart cherries, very slightly meaty. Drank chilled. — 8 years ago
At Aeble, a new restaurant that didn't come up on Delectable. Stoned fruit--that's me--loves the stone fruit flavors, a hybrid peach and apricot. Didn't expect this Portuguese indigenous grape Loureiro to be so complex and bright. — 9 years ago

What a lovely sparkling white - smooth and creamy with hints of citrus — 10 years ago
Beautiful ruby grapefruit color- interesting for a sparkling wine. Exhilarating bubbles that dance on the palate (for a while). The Loureiro varietal lends a richness to the wine that is offset by the crisp acidity. The wine is delicate enlighten for sipping as an aperitif during the fall, yet complex enough to pair with Lebanese food. — 11 years ago

Citrus, gröna äpplen päpplen. Syra som är tilltagen i överkant om man inte vill ha det. — 4 years ago
Kind of a nutty/smoked meat note on the nose. On the palate, green apple, lemon, lime, and a beautiful tart saline finish. In love with this! — 5 years ago
Perfect with a meal of Spanish seafood tapas — 9 years ago
A garnet-hued, frothy vixen of a wine, the Aphros Sparkling Vinhão Super-Reserva delights with ultra-earthy, pungent funk, and juicy black plum notes forming a concise bridge between nose and palate. Bright acidity cuts through layers of pruney deliciousness, the finish is brisk and short very much about black tea tannin and dried herbs. At 12.0% ABV it goes down very easily. I expect this pair well with charcuterie, unlike Lambrusco, it's bone dry. — 10 years ago
Dry, strong rose cava, deep red, easily drinkable — 12 years ago
