lemon yellow, watery rim; perfumed, apricot, mango, lemon peel, Gardenia; medium body, good acidity, 14% ABV; blend of 45% Malvasia Bianca sourced from Catie’s Corner Vineyard in RRV, 30% old vine Tocai Friulano from Pagani Ranch in Sonoma Valley, and 25% Ribolla Gialla from Tanya’s Vineyard in RRV; 24 hours of skin contact for the Malvasia, 12 hours for the Tocai and the Ribolla, followed by light pressing and native fermentation in puncheons of which 20% were new, made by Italian winemaker Enrico Bertoz from Alto Adige; reminiscent of white blends of Friuli; $26

Very flavorful, light, aromatic. This is a mix of Italian varietals (I think Malvasia Bianca, fruilano and ribolla). @ Bottega in napa

The aroma is almost like Gewurtz mixed with SauvBlanc; grassy, extremely ripe-fruit-forward. The palate is herbal and almost piney, the skin asserts a strong presence without off-balancing the delicate floral and herbal qualities of this stunner! Maybe a touch high on RS for me, but otherwise a perfect example of what I want in New California natural whites!

Always a fun Cali blend and great with a variety of New Year’s Day Apps. 45% Malvasia, 30% old vine Tocai Friuliano, and 25% Ribolla Gialla (or Ribby G as we like to call it in the Quartiere). Always a nice remembrance of @Alec White when we have this wine, as he introduced it to us.

I found the nose to be of ripe white peaches and increasingly fruity as the bottle opened up. Good but in the world of CA made Italian varietal blends I preferred Massican Annia
