Touriga Nacional Rosé

Rosé wine dinner at The Wheatleigh in Lenox, MA. Dry and crisp, with great red berry flavors, some minerality and underlying savoriness. Great acidity.

Offputting effervescence, underlying wine was ok, just not one of their better efforts.

So delicate and floral aromatically but still tons of depth: salinity, pear, red bell pepper. Might try to find one more of these to stash and see how it ages

Crisp with a distinct minerality. Refreshing and light. Good quaff.

Peach colored. Strong fruit aroma - strawberry or melon. High acidity. Medium light bodied. Crisp and a bit mineralogy. Complex. Delicious. Refreshing like a rose/white but reminiscent of a red.

2017. Loved it from first drink and it gained complexity in the glass. Paired perfect with all of the starters on the DC Restaurant Week menu!

The poolside wine. Sunscreen hand smudges all over the bottle.

As I experienced at dinner, this is a rosé that effectively competes for attention with fried Chicken; must be damned good.

Nice rose for #nationalroseday Herbal, blood orange, melon, strawberry. Not as open as the 16 was at this point, but that's not a criticism.

I'll stick with "yum!"
