Drunk with steak. This wine which is retailed at $ 40 I think for the 2014 vintage is really good. Not as good as the recently tested 2004 Heitz but still for a $ 25 cali cab at the time it delivers big time but only if you are patient and beats many bordeaux in the same price range

Apr 30th, 2020Delicious and mature cali cab....the nose is full on cassis and leather. The wine still has a good amount of acidity and medium tannins after all these years. Went perfect with a juicy steak
