Confusing in that the nose has a candy aspect (overripe) and a vegetal aspect (underripe) on top of dark fruit. On the palate there are dark plums initially with a green note (slight bell pepper) in the middle, finishing cassis. Alcohol is moderate as is the grip and tannin. Tasted blind I guessed Cab dominant blend from N Cali, perhaps Alex Valley. Close. Decent enough wine.
