Delightful dinner at Marta accented by this delicious 2015 Cos Frappato. Red current and Christmas spice with violets and a touch of earth. Light bodied but full of personality. It tastes like spring.

100 % Frappato grapes. Tasted at the winery 2 weeks ago where there was no WiFi. Just catching up with the tasting notes for COS now. Aged in concrete tanks - no oak. Mid crimson in colour. Only 11% Alcohol with low acidity and soft light tannins. Very fresh with cherry aromas. Drink in summer slightly chilled. Delicious drinking. Could age short term but little point.
